wow a week of holiday hv passed
but it seems like no holiday to many of us
cant complain exams is just around the corner
yah!
the sc juz finish their ITTIY camp
the campfire was great thks alot
juniors...made me recall
about the sec1 oc camp
when i n farah was the mc
cant forget about that...
today when back to church to help do some stuff
was kind of fun...
n there was this boy name Daniel
sec3 this year n he is also a student councillor
n he is one of the exco also
he came to me n asked me
"Jerrick r u the first NT exco in ur sch"
i answered "not really"
than he asked me wht was my role in the exco than
i said " Head of Discipline"
he said " isnt that hard for u?"
i asked him y?
he said " u r a NT student who will look up onto u?"
n i answered him saying
yes...many may not look up onto me as a leader
i cant say that they r wrong...i must think how can i make them
look upto me as a leader.
than he told me about his problem
he said "it is so hard to be in the exco
we need to do so many things
need to be at the best
a gd example to others
need to keep up wif sch work n council work
so many thinks...when we go back home
if results drop parents put the blame on us n the council
saying that being in the coucil is nothing
is a waste of time
all kinds of stupid thing...
but i love being in the council...
when i go for meeting or any sc stuff
i will feel very relax... i will feel very happy....but y parents dun understand?"
i told him
"parents are like that...they wish for the best for their child...
dun u agree?
but we know that life is hard
we hv to go through this period
like wht i always say
with great sacrafice comes great victory
parents maybe unreasonable at times
dun feel sad thinking that ur parents dun support u
make them proud do something outstanding
proof them wrong
they will know one day
that their child is do very great...we r all not born leaders
but there is this passion in us that
lead us to be leaders"
